Pond Waters Colors 02 – Analysis Aspects

The aspects that need to be considered in assessing and analyzing the of pond waters colors in general includes:
  1. Type of dominant plankton
  2. Abundance of dominant plankton
  3. Condition and quality of shrimps.

Analysis of dominant plankton type based on the characteristics and nature of its also a level of problems that may result in the waters and their effects on other organisms. The pond waters which is dominated by the type of plankton that is profitable and brings a comfortable and safe effect on other organisms, the decision that need to be taken is how to maintain, whereas if dominance which is occurs from harmful types of plankton, then necessary to replace the plankton dominance with a decreasing pond waters in large volumes of and inoculation process of benefiting plankton seeds from other pond accompanied by fertilizing.

Abundance of dominant plankton in the pond waters are closely related to the level of water transparency as described in the foregoing discussion. A too high abundance of plankton species that harm would be very harmful to the shrimp and can cause serious problems if not anticipated immediately.

Analysis of pond water color which is associated with the dominance of certain plankton species should lead to the condition and quality of shrimp that live in these waters. This situation may imply that despite the dominance of plankton in the waters of these ponds is a profitable type, but if the conditions and quality of shrimps have been degraded, then there is something problem in these waters so there should be identification and analysis of the cause of the problem carefully and accurately. In the other hand, if the pond water color observations show the existence of harmful plankton dominance, whereas the condition and quality of shrimp under normal condition, then the process of replacing the pond waters should be gradual and continuous order not to cause stress to the shrimps until the dominance of plankton in the pond is replaced with a new type and beneficial
